Finance department is looking for a candidate to ensure the role of a Business Analyst Accounting System in the frame of the bpost bank integration within BNPP Fortis.
The Finance workstream team is working in a close and strong collaboration with Integration Office in order to :
- ensure the end-to-end migration of bpost bank operating system and general ledger, in full alignment with Integration Office strategy;
- ensure complete roll out of the strategic and new business organisation;
- ensure qualitative and efficient sourcing towards the Group Finance systems.
The Finance workstream team is responsible to
- Define and prepare the accounting migration of bpost bank accounting to BNPPF
- act as interface between the BNPPF Finance department, bpost bank, Integration office and other involved departments
- identify and ensure local business requirements are correctly implemented into Finance systems and outbounds;
- ensure efficient and qualitative BNPP Finance systems functionalities respecting local user requirements, timing and budget;
- Coordinate and provide Integration Office with regular status update and alerts/issues;
- manage risk, quality and issues;
- participate in testing;
- ensure change management towards bpost bank users (Accounting & Reporting, Management Control, ALMT, Credit Risk, Permanent Control teams);
- identify and define process optimisation;
- propose/contribute to initiatives to remediate to Data Quality issues and inconsistencies

Function description |
- BNPP Fortis Finance is contributing to the integration of bpost bank within BNPPF entity.In this matter, we are looking for a Senior Business Analyst that we support us in the coordination of the accounting migration. Your mission will mainly consist to coordinate the migration of account between bpost bank and BNPPF general ledger structure, to identify of BNPPF Finance requirements, to ensure the documentation, the testing and the follow-up of the implementation into the systems
In order to reach this objective, you will:
– Ensure coordination with BNPP Fortis Finance project and bpost bank ;
– Perform analysis and necessary mapping of accounting systems between bpost bank and BNPPF Finance;
– Identify gaps between bpost bank and BNPPF accounting situation and propose solution for the migration;
– Support the migration strategy with BNPP Fortis Finance sourcing and Finance workstream team;
– Write clear and complete business requirements / specifications;
– Prepare, Coordinate, Execute testing by detailed analysis of delivered vs expected results;
– Produce regular project status to share with Finance project managers;
– Coordinate, follow up the implementation of the solutions in the systems;
– Propose, contribute to the definition of Short term & Long term Solutions;
– Contribute to the definition of workaround solutions with the project team face to any issue impacting the critical path of the project and its budget and liaise with the project team member to coordinate the phases of the project (Prepa, Construct, test, DR, Prod, aftercare..)
– Document solutions and processes;
– Organize, coordinate and prepare recurrent meeting and dedicated workshop;
– Ensure proactive, regular and clear communication towards the different stakeholders from BNPP Fortis Finance and bpost bank departments;
– Write meeting minutes and communicate them to the participants;
– Support Change management;
– Provide training, guidance and user support for the involved teams
